| CHRISTMAS COMPETITION 2011 WINNERS The Christmas Lights competition for the best “Christmas shop window” has now ended and the votes counted. The winning shop was The Hub/Tourist Info Office with Granny Smiths and Rush in second and third places. The winners of the £20 shopping vouchers were Jason Carrick of Ambleside and Mrs C Graham of Irlam, Manchester who were drawn from those people voting for the winning shop. The Community Lights Committee thanks all the participating business and the many people who recorded their votes. The Hub will be presented with the winner’s trophy. |
